This appendix contains details about systems used for distribution of television in North America. Since practically all television distribution in the world uses either the European or the U.S. systems the book more or less covers most technical standards in the world.
Appendix 1 contains 4 illustrations.
North and South America have different technical standards than Europe, but the differences are not that large.
