When it comes to digital TV there are lots of receivers to choose from. In addition to built-in ones there are numerous set-top boxes to choose from. Not only that, there are different receivers for satellite, cable, and terrestrial. In addition, lots of other things, including which kinds of conditional access systems the box can handle, need to take into account as well as other features, such as teletext handling (Europe) and Electronic Program Guides (EPGs) and so on.
